The Family Behind the Name

For more than two decades, wallcoverings have been part of our family’s story.

Gael began her career as a wallpaper specialist at Frazee Paints’ main San Diego location, developing the product knowledge and design expertise that would eventually lead her to open Gael’s Wallcoverings in 2013.

Today, Gael’s is a multi-generational family business, bringing together the experience, creativity and strengths of each generation while serving homeowners, designers and commercial professionals throughout San Diego.

What began as a specialty wallpaper showroom has grown into a resource for residential and commercial wallcoverings, custom murals, specialty finishes, textiles, acoustical solutions and more. Through that growth, our approach has remained personal: understand the project, know the materials and help our clients find solutions that work beautifully in the spaces they’re creating.
